In case anyone still reads this...

We're going to Hawaii a week from tomorrow!! I ended up with 2 weeks off in August, which is ideal for traveling - a few days off before to leave to pack, and a few days after to get over jet lag and do laundry before going back to work!
We did some research via internet and by talking friends who had traveled to the islands a few times before booking the trip. We're going to go to Honolulu for the week and stay at a hotel right on Waikiki beach.
What are we going to do? Kayak, hike, visit Pear Harbor, eat good food...I'm excited :) Pictures to come!

What to Do in WNY: Devil's Hole, Niagara Falls

Devil's Hole, Niagara Falls:

Since our wedding is on Memorial Day weekend, some of you may choose to see the Falls, enjoy some wings, and whatever festival may be going on that weekend. According to the Farmer's Almanac, May will be warmer and drier than normal.
A fantastic family activity is to hike Devil's Hole, just below Niagara Falls. We joined Chris and Erica for a hike last summer. As well as hiking you can go letterboxing, and watch the Whirlpool Jetboat Tours go by.
